| I have had the pleasure of coaching Jordanna Rauch
for two seasons throughout the spring/summer season. Our team played
against some of the best teams in the state and throughout the nation
as well as playing up an age division in most tournaments during
our two seasons together. Jordanna, as well as her other teammates,
welcomed the challenge of playing against top-notch competition
and up an age division.
Jordanna is a very intelligent basketball player who understands
how to read defenses and act accordingly. Jordanna understands the
difference between a good shot and a bad shot and is almost never
out of control when handling or shooting the ball. Jordanna also
understands proper defensive positioning and defensive help and
rotation schemes.
Jordanna is very capable of playing at the point guard or two-guard
position as she sees the floor very well and was second on the team
in assists per game last season. She is also capable of handling
pressure and getting the team into an offense.
Jordanna's strongest offensive skill would be her shooting. Jordanna
can really shoot the three-point shot and her perimeter shooting
helped us to stretch zone defenses throughout the season. Jordanna
is also very good at the free-throw line.
On the defensive end, Jordanna is a solid defender. She does a
great job at keeping the ball in front of her and rotating to help.
She always seems to be in the mix to rebound as well.
I recommend Jordanna Rauch to any coach who is looking for a player
that is willing to do whatever it takes for the rest of the team
to be successful. Jordanna has the intangibles and continues to
build the skills needed to play at the college level. She is an
honor student and comes from a very good family.
I would be glad to answer any questions in regards to Jordanna,
please contact me at the phone number below for more information.
Sincerely,
Mark Lane
